The short version
We collect only what you choose to send us, we use it only to get back to you about Medicare coverage, and we do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with anyone. No lead buyers, no marketing lists, no other agents.
What we collect
If you fill in the contact form or email us, we receive what you type: typically your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell us about your situation. That’s it. We don’t ask for your Social Security number, your Medicare number, or your bank details through this website.
If you later become a client, we’ll collect the information needed to compare plans and complete an enrollment. We’ll explain what’s needed at the time, and that information is handled under the same principles set out here as well as the privacy rules of the insurance carriers involved.
Why we collect it
Solely so Jason Burgess can respond to you personally, answer your question, and — if you want — help you compare and enroll in a plan. We do not use it for anything else.
Who sees it
Jason Burgess sees it. Nobody else does, with two narrow exceptions:
- Service providers who help run the site. Our contact form is delivered by a form-handling service, and the site is hosted by a web host. They process the message in order to deliver it to us, and they aren’t permitted to use it for anything else.
- An insurance carrier you choose to apply to. If you decide to enroll in a plan, the information required for that application goes to that carrier — because that’s what an application is. That only happens with your knowledge, at your direction.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond those, nothing leaves us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there’s a reason to — a conversation in progress, or an ongoing client relationship where records are required. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we’re legally required to keep it.
Cookies and site analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. If we add basic visitor analytics in future, it will be to understand which pages are useful — never to build a profile of you or to target advertising.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Call 919-435-1801 or email jason@seniorplanadvisors.com. There’s no form to fill in and no hoops to jump through.
Children
This site is intended for adults approaching or already on Medicare. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
